Kid Chess is Currently Hiring Chess Instructors in the Atlanta Area

Kid Chess is currently hiring instructors to teach chess to children in our afterschool enrichment program hosted on the campuses of elementary schools in Gwinnett County, Fulton County, Cobb County, Cherokee County, Dekalb County, John's Creek, and City of Atlanta areas.

Job Purpose:

You will be coaching in a chess class with up to 3 coaches and approximately 45 students. In the class you will be responsible for the safety of the students, teaching chess, having fun and building relationships with the students. Punctuality is crucial, since we are dealing with children. Full Training is given, as well as many resources (including laptops, projectors, SmartBoard Technology, full management team, and curriculum).

Duties:

Teaching the game of chess to kids in an entertaining and organized manner. Some light administrative duties and competency with basic computer chess programs.

Skills/Qualifications:

We are looking for experienced chess players who are great with children. All employees must pass a full background check, and all employees need reliable transportation. Excellent people skills are required. It is an extremely fun job, and happy, energetic people tend to perform very well.

Salary:

Part time employment, $20/hr plus performance bonuses.
