Monster
Chess!
These exercises are a great way of getting familiar with how the pieces move.
In these challenges you try to capture all of your opponent's pieces with the one "Monster" piece you
have. You move first.
Instructions:
Pick one and click on the title. The game
will open up in a separate window. (The first time may take a few seconds.) When
the game finishes loading, you'll see a "Start (New Position)" button.
Click the button to reset the board and start the game.
Extra Credit - even good players may have trouble with these.
In these puzzles you will need to look ahead several moves.
(The "Monster" can't just gobble pieces without thinking about it!) If you take the pieces in the incorrect order, you may have a
position in which a piece remains but cannot be immediately captured and lose the challenge.
(If it happens, don't worry about it; just try again!)
