Eight out of Ten of the Atlanta Metro Area's Best Schools have a Chess Program. Yours should, too!
It's Not Too Late to get a chess program into your public or private school.
.JPG)
Chess has been shown to increase standardized test scores and the vast majority of the Atlanta area schools with the highest scores on the C.R.C.T. have some kind of chess program. These chess programs are surprisingly popular amongst Elementary students with anywhere from dozens up to two hundred students participating at each school.
Kid Chess™ is proud to be Partners in Education with dozens of Atlanta area schools. We also provide free chess sets, books and software to many local Elementary schools each year.
Also, Cobb County no longer requires PTA sponsorship in order to have a chess club at your Cobb County school.
So, if you would like to know more about having a chess program for your school, please contact us, or your school admistration. If they are interested, please invite them to call us at 770-575-5802, e-mail us at justin@kidchess.com or visit our web site at www.KidChess.com.

Chess makes children smarter and when properly taught develops character. Chess is extremely popular amongst home school students with hundreds of home schoolers participating in the Atlanta area. A highly disproportional number of the top young chess players in Georgia are home schooled.
Playing chess has proven to help students enhance their creativity, improve their power of concentration, develop and expand critical thinking skills, boost memory and retention, and achieve superior academic performance. Additionally, chess has been shown to augment problem-solving capabilities, provide cultural enrichment, advance intellectual maturity, and enhance self-esteem. We know that these are qualities that school administrators, parents, and teachers desire for their students.
We provide assistance in setting up and facilitating any kind of chess program. Kid Chess™ is proud to be the leading provider of home school chess tournaments and classes in Georgia. If you would like to know more about having a chess program for your home school group or would like the children in your group to know about chess tournaments or classes (some exclusively for home school children), or our free club for kids on Thursday nights, please call us at 770-575-5802, e-mail us at info@kidchess.com or visit our web site at www.KidChess.com.
